Hey I’m Emily
Emily is a nutrition-minded private chef, recipe developer, and food writer with a passion for telling stories through creative, ingredient-driven dishes.
Trained in NYC and shaped by the vibrant coastal ingredients and lifestyle of sunny San Diego, Emily is back on the East Coast, bringing her approach to kitchens across the Tri-State area.
After transforming her own gut health through easy, anti-inflammatory recipes, she’s on a mission to help clients reach their health goals and meet their dietary needs — without sacrificing the foods they love.
Emily has worked in just about every corner of the food world, from recruiting for the Food Network’s Chopped to writing for the James Beard Foundation, to serving as the Food Editor of Swirled to performance-driven cooking for professional athletes. More than anything, Emily loves to travel and explore through cooking with local ingredients. When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find her hiking, checking out farmers markets, and searching for the best hidden gems and coffee shops around.
My Clients Say It Best ✨
Emily is a culinary artist whose expertise has proven invaluable to my integrative medicine practice. When she visited our office to share samples of her work, we were immediately impressed by her ability to create meals that are both nutritionally sophisticated and genuinely delicious.
As an integrative physician, one of my greatest challenges is helping patients transition to therapeutic dietary protocols. Emily has been very helpful in bridging this gap. When several of my patients needed to adopt the Ketoflex diet, Emily stepped in seamlessly. She prepared compliant meals and provided convenient home delivery, removing a significant barrier to adherence.
The feedback from my patients has been remarkable. One patient, who had previously struggled with vegetable-forward eating, was genuinely amazed by Emily's preparation of cauliflower, describing it as "exquisite." This speaks volumes about her skill in transforming whole-food ingredients into craveable dishes.
My patients frequently mention how much they miss Emily's cooking, which is perhaps the highest compliment one can give. Her work doesn't just nourish—it makes healthful eating sustainable and enjoyable, which is essential for long-term therapeutic success.
I wholeheartedly recommend Emily to any healthcare practitioner seeking a skilled culinary partner for their patients' nutritional needs.

“The broccoli and sweet potato fries you made last week were a hit with everyone!!! Can I request to have a double order next week? We are all obsessed and it made me so happy because it was veggies and the kids crushed it!”

I nanny some very picky eaters and I needed help getting them to eat their veggies. The carrots you made were bomb and my kids actually ate them! You also made these protein bars that were better than any bar I’ve ever tasted… You are an amazing chef!
